News just in from Rowan about the Causeway Coast Marathon being held on the 2nd October. An Ultra Distance event has just been added to the 2010 Causeway Coast schedule of events, which will run along side the marathon, 13.5 mile, 10km and the 26mile walk.

Split over two days (they were thinking of doing as a continuous race), just over 310km, West to East across the north of Ireland – Enniscrone, Co Sligo to Newcastle, Co Down.

- WEE 4 – Belfast Castle – nettled and MP’ed, but not out!
It was bound to happen sooner rather that later. I nearly made it six months into the year without ‘miss-punching’ a control, but last night my orienteering nirvana came crashing back down to earth.
