Team Helly Hansen/Prunesco – The ‘New’ World Champions

If you already didn’t know, the 2009 Adventure Racing World Championship have been taking place in Portugal over the last 5 days. It’s a 700/800 km course and all of the best teams in the world are taking part – it’s a ‘proper’ World Championship race. The best news is the UK team Helly Hansen – Prunesco (NICK GRACIE, TOM GIBBS, WARREN BATES and NICOLA MACLEOD) have just won it!!!!

The Adventure Racing World Championships are due to be screened on Channel 4 at 0800 on 27 Dec 2009.
